Hey everyone! Sorry that I haven’t posted anything in a while, things got extremely crazy and busy, but I’m back and I’m better haha! I can’t wait to let you all know about my newest find, hot cocoa mix from Triann’s Pantry!
Triann’s Pantry is an allergy friendly bakery that makes mixes and flours for various different foods. They make hot cocoa mix, frosting mix, cupcake mix, cookie mix, pancake and waffle mix, as well as, all-purpose flour mix. Their products are made in a dedicated facility, and are free of dairy, soy, gluten, tree nuts, peanuts, eggs, corn, and rice! They even make no sugar added products for those who have sugar-restricting diets.
I tried their 10 oz. Hot Cocoa Mix, and man was it amazing! The ingredients for the hot cocoa mix are simple, the mix contains: organic cane sugar, organic cocoa powder, organic corn free vanilla powder (organic sucrose and organic vanilla bean extractive), and all natural sea salt. No added colors or preservatives! The chocolate mix is creamy, but not too sweet, if you like your hot cocoa to be a little sweeter you can add sugar, but the mix is in no way bitter. The plus about the mix containing no dairy or dairy substitute is that you can make the hot chocolate to your liking, I prefer to use hot water and coconut milk, but you could use soy milk, just hot water, coconut milk (based on your liking and your allergies)! Although the mix came with no nutrition facts, I can’t imagine a hot cocoa mix with simple ingredients, such as Triann’s Pantry’s, to be unhealthier than common brands such as Swiss Miss or Nesquik.
The hot chocolate has an amazing smell, and is something I would definitely recommend. I don’t really have anything negative to say about the product except for the fact that a nutrition facts label would be nice in the future. If you are a fan of hot chocolate year-round, I urge you to try them, and comment below what you think about them!
